About me

About me

Born in 1974 in sunny Spain, I decided to go abroad after my psychology studies in Valencia. Travelling, learning about other cultures and languages has always interested me. I also love nature, reading, and cooking.

In 2002 my heart led me to Austria, which has become the centre of my life since then.

After completing my training as a psychologist in Germany I am now working in Austria as a psychotherapist. Since 2016, I have been authorized to work independently, and my official registration in the BMSGPK list of psychotherapists was completed in December 2022.

Additionally I have practical experience with working with disadvantaged children, young drug addicts and juvenile delinquents. Likewise in working with people with eating disorders, depression, anxiety and burnout, as well as working in the psycho-oncological field.

Last but not least my previous professional career encompassed several years’ experience as a human resources manager in an international company, and as Trainer in adult education with a focus on working with women’s groups.

My many travels brought me, time and again, to the question of identity.

And so it came about that I deepened my knowledge in Buddhist psychology (mindfulness) and yoga. I then dedicated my master's thesis to the topic of heart coherence and its cognitive effects.

Against this background I feel ready to support people with professional and private challenges, in both individual and group setting.

I am pleased when I may accompany and support people in psychotherapeutic settings. It was always my dream to become a psychotherapist since I was 14 years old, when I heard about the concepts of psychology and psychotherapy. It fills me with enthusiasm to live this dream after the long and necessary path.
